Another wonderful soup recipe that uses farmer’s market ingredients including Turnips. I’m not one to usually get excited about turnips but this recipe is a tasty winner!

2-3 quarts of chicken stock

1/2 onion, chopped

1/2 bunch of kale, chopped

1/2 pound of italian sausage, cooked & crumbled

2-3 potatoes, cut into bite size chunks

1-2 turnips, cut into bite size chunks

Chicken boulion and salt, to taste

Combine all ingredients in a pot. Simmer until vegetables are cooked through. Serve with a loaf of bread and you have a complete, tasty meal!
